Penzance/Madron Scout Group has it's own purpose made building, called "Venning Hall".  It was built in 1953 on land donated by Major Charles Venning after the previous Scout Hall was demolished by a stray bomb in World War 2.

The Scout Hall comprises of a large main room, a fully fitted kitchen, Male/female toilets with disabled access and an enclosed garden/lawn at the rear of the building.  All this is included with just one hire price!

Main Hall: Gas central heating.  Wooden parquay flooring.  2 fire extinguishers.  Dimensions: 6m x 20m

Toilets: Toilet and hand basin.  Electric hot water heater. Shaver Point. Large Mirror!

Kitchen: 4 ring cooker with oven.  Kettle.  Microwave oven. Electric water heater. Fully equipped with pots and pans, utensils, plates, cups and cutlery.  Fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Garden/Lawn: Dimensions: 35m x 12m (Triangular in shape)  Locked access.  Fully enclosed.  Undercover Fire Range.

We charge a modest price per "Session".  We are fully insured for 3rd party liability but please take out your own accident insurance, should you feel that's needed. We have the necessary fire prevention equipment.  The premises is available at times during the day and during weekends.  Please use the form below to contact us regarding your booking.
